CD: Artist
for a Cure
Song House Publishing is excited to announce the release of the
music CD "Artist for a Cure" to benefit research for
Cystic Fibrosis. President of Song House Publishing, Edward Stroop
states "...the CD was two years in the making, searching
for the best unsigned songwriters and artists from around the
world! We received hundreds of original submissions and narrowed
the field to seventeen great songs represented on the CD. The
songs range in styles from contemporary country, rock, acoustic
rock, pop and top 40. These artists/songwriters are from the USA,
Ireland and United Kingdom. They have written some of the best
original songs you will hear in 2004!"
The very moving title
song "One Step Closer" by Josh Davis and Eddie Stroop
has been selected by the National Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for
it's 2004 'Great Strides' campaign. "Great Strides"
raised more than 20 million dollars last year for Cystic Fibrosis.
The song will be released to more than 600 cities in the United
States along with a video to promote next years 'Great Strides'
event. For more information visit www.cff.org.
This project is very
close to Song House Publishing President, Edward Stroop. His son
Taylor has Cystic Fibrosis. He founded the Sarasota, Florida-based
music publishing company in 2001 to combine his love for music
with his passion to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. Portions
of his companies proceeds benefit CF and many of the songwriters
he represents also contribute portions of their publishing proceeds
to CF.
